Italy

It's a real treasure of sites. There's always something new to see throughout the country, full of magic at every corner that is full of unique and cobbled paths, a deep sea, views that will leave you breathless, and more than anything; people that are kind and charismatic . All this has made my love grow so much more for such a beautiful country. I started my adventure through Italian land.



 

Rome

The eternal city. A phenomenal concentration of history and businesses causes the capital to always have a large concentration of people , that's why it is considered one of the noisiest cities in Europe. All this agrees with the old phrase: Rome, a life is not enough. "A lifetime is not enough." There will be endless places to visit that you can barely sleep. I recommend that you make a list of your most interesting places and enjoy them accompanied by delicious cuisine that will take you to heaven.

I will show you some of the most visited places which was the one that I visited, if you find them interesting, you can include them in your itinerary.


- I would suggest taking the Hop on / Hop off bus which will take you to all the main tourist places

- Trevi Fountain: No trip to Rome is complete without a visit to the Trevi Fountain, known as one of the most impressive fountains in the world. - Pantheon: It is the only ancient Roman building in Rome that has remained almost intact through the centuries. - Colosseum: The Colosseum is the main symbol of Rome. - Roman Forum: near the Colosseum. - Spanish steps( Piazza di Spagna). - Monument to Victor-Emmanuel II. - Piazza Venezia: is a square located in the heart of Rome. - The bridge and castle of Sant'Angelo. - Enjoy a gelato. - Sit down and enjoy a good coffee. - Go shopping on Via del Corso.



 


Vatican City


An ecclesiastical state, located on the west bank of the Tiber River, is the smallest and most independent nation state in the world and home to some of the most iconic paintings in the world, you will find some interesting attraction to visit that you cannot miss, but for me the best was the following: - St. Peter's Basilica: admission is free, elevator to the terrace plus 320 steps Price: 8 euros or $ 8.60. - Visitors should not miss the climb to the top of the dome, from where you have an impressive view of St. Peter's Square. - Vatican Museums where the Sistine Chapel is located

Price: Adult: 16 euros or $ 17.10. Children (from 6 to 18 years old) 8 euros or $ 8.60. On the last Sunday of the month, tickets are free.



 


Naples

Located on the coast at the northern end of the Bay of Naples, one of the most beautiful in Italy. It is located about two hours south of Rome. You will be able to enjoy every corner of the city and that mixture of architecture and the blue sea of ​​the Bay, with a gastronomic delicious; which will make you enjoy every second of your stay like a dream. It is often said that Rome is the heart of Italy and that Naples is its soul. It is a city that you will definitely have to visit and live your own experience, I recommend being cautious as you would anywhere, but I am sure that everything will be fine.



 


Pompeii

The thriving Rome City frozen in time by a volcanic, eruption of 79 A.D. it's a complete ancient Roman City you can explore located in the modern community of Pompeii, today Pompeii Ruins are one of the most famous archaeological sites in. The world, today part of the UNESCO WORLD Heritage sites.

- The templo of apollo. - Explore the city outside the ruins. You can enjoy the rest of your day walking through the streets in the modern town of Pompeii, get a souvenir from one of the street vendors, enjoy a good conversation, or a good meal surrounded by local peoples. - Basilica, Church dedicated to our lady.



 


San Benedetto del Tronto

It is a city and community in Marche, Italy, one of the most densely populated areas along the Adriatic Sea coast, the beach is internationally praised for its virgin beauty, it is blessed with an exuberant palm plantation, I recommend spending at least one day enjoying the sea and the atmosphere of the area.



 


Milán

It is a city in northern Italy, the capital of Lombardy, it is a world capital of fashion and design, it is strictly for city lovers, shopping is of religious importance, also known for its high-end restaurants.

- The gothic cathedral of the Duomo di Milano and the convent of Santa Maria delle Grazice, which houses the Leonardo da Vinci Mural. - Duomo di Milano - Galería Vittorio Emanuelle II - Highline Galleria - Milano Centrale Train Station.



 


Venice

The beauty of Venice goes beyond the canals, the romantic city is in the Italian region of Veneto, the roads of Venice are based on a series of canals and water channels. One of the most famous areas of the city is the world-famous Grand Canal, which was a center of Renaissance mayors, another unmistakable area is the central square of Venice, called Piazza San Marco, this is where you will find a range of mosaics Byzantines, the bell tower and, of course, the impressive St. Mark's Basilica. It remains a major Italian port in the northern Adriatic Sea and is one of the oldest tourist and cultural centers in the world.

Arrived in Venice, is still transported into another world, one whose atmosphere and beauty remain incomparable, the best known form of transport on the waterway of Venice is the gondola, their elegant sleek shape and brilliant black paint have made them a symbol of Venice.



 


Lake Como

(Lago di Como)

Italy's Lombardy region is known for its dramatic scenery set against the foothills of the Alps, Lake Como is Italy's most popular lake and also deepest, it's surrounding by mountains and hills dotted wit h beautiful Villas and resort Villages it's and a great spot for photography.



 


Viconago


It is a typical Italian town where you can find a tavern and a pizzeria overlooking the lakes. I am the type of person who likes different things, I love nature and I enjoy the quiet places that fill me with peace, and surround me with a good atmosphere, and Viconago is one of those places that may not have much to offer Like tourism or if you are one of those travelers who prefer city life, this place is not for you.

It is a typical Italian town where you will find churches around entire cities, where the sound of their bells will wake you up in the morning and, as you spend the day, you will hear them wherever you are. It is located near Lugano in Switzerland and near Lake Como, a place undoubtedly full of sight and peace where you will feel like a local, will leave you breathless.



 


Genova

Italy's largest sea port, if you are looking for a deeply layered, often unvarnished and boldly authentic travel experience, offering both splendor a grit and an undiluted sense of history, the city is rich in art and notable architecture, with a revitalized part designed by one of the best-known starchitects in the world. - Boccadasse : Is an old mariners' neighbourhood of the Italian city of Genoa. - Piazza de Ferrari - Porto Vecchio con galeone Nettuno




 


Saturnia, Italy

The thermal waters at Saturnia are a gem enticing stop while you exploring Tuscany take advantage of the free entrance to "Castate di Mulino" and spend a day in the relax of silk blue water , the hot springs water is , Southern Tuscany.

There are few things you must know:

- There are no public changing room, so you'll be ready dressed in your bathing suit. - Bring a towel. - Bring you own food and drinks. - Parking is free, but limited; my recomendation ; arrived early or verry late to find a spot. - Enjoy the beautiful day.


 


Florence

The home of the Renaissance and birthplace of our modern world, bathed in architectural beauty; located in the heart of the stunning region of Tuscany, of course Florence goes beyond painting and statues, you need enjoy the food, fashion( best leather) and for sure streets markets. - Florence Cathedral: Dominate the skyline with its famous red dome and simply know in Florence is the jewel of the city. - Giotto's Campanile : Many people believe that Giotto's Campanile is connected to the Duomo, but is a separated building, is a true masterpiece of Gothic architecture. - Ponte Vecchio: A medieval bridge. - Basilica di San Lorenzo. - Piazza del Duomo: Is one of the main squares in the city and a great place to start your tour of Florence. - Statue of David - Fountain of the Piglet: Is one of the most popular monuments in Florence, a bit like the mouth of truth in Rome, tradition has it, in fact that who ever wants a good luck should touch the nose of the Piglet, the nose is shiny from the daily rubbing and then you have to place a coin in the boar's mouth and wait until the water makes it fall.

- II Mercato Firenze Open Monday - Friday from 7:00 am to 17:00 (except from mid of June through September.) Price: Free Its a place that you need to visit in the heart of San Lorenzo, a gastronomic gold mine a wait, you can enjoy the huge food court upstair.

- San Lorenzo Market: Is the place for you and for every one, the market is actually compromised of two separate markets.

1- An indoor market at Mercato centrale, or Central Market home to all things food. 2- The outdoor section that lines the surroundings streets of the largest Mercato Centrale Building, leather, clothing and souvenirs selling. 3- After some time exploring the outdoor market, you can ending up at the indoor market to enjoy a good lunch or a gelato.



 


Pisa

This city is known for its iconic learning tower, which already leans when it was completed in 1372, the 56m white marble cylinder is the bell tower of the striped marble Romanesque cathedral, those who venture to climb the 294 steps will enjoy one of the best panoramic views in the world if you are willing to do the long line, in particular we decided not to do it due to the fact that we would only be in the area for one day, and we prefer to do other activities.
