Driving through the entire Amalfi Coast it's like you've found heaven on earth, the Coastline will show you a vibrant nature with multicolor towns facing the turquoise waters of the entire Mediterranean creating a scene that has all the power to disarm you and leaving you breathless for each town you pass by, and that is how we traveled along this beautiful coast. Without not losing a sigh to fall in love with the marvelous scenery that this country has to offer; Until we reached our first destination.

The most beautiful and impressive views you will see in your life, you can see it through out the entire Amalfi Coast, so stop along the way and take picture, a lot of pictures.

Capri

We reach Capri through Sorrento, where we parked the car in Marina Grande, there we took the ferry that would take us to the Island of Capri, ferry duration from Sorrento can last between 20 to 25 minutes in duration, meanwhile on the island of Capri its easy to move, you can take a taxi or a bus, or scooter to go up to AnaCapri, the price range between 2.50 euros to 6 euros per person.

Due to the high accommodation prices, I had done a research and decided to rent through Airbnb.com a beautiful apartment called Bacio di Capri with an ocean view that will take your breath away, the welcome of the owner was very cordial, all those details made our stay more pleasant.

Much to do and see:

Monte Solaro

You can take a breath taking chairlift to the top of the Mount the highest point on Capri at 586 meter above sea level, is the most panoramic point on the island.

Tickets:12 euro roundtrip.

Once your reach the peak enjoy the beautiful views over the Faraglioni rock, you can also looks at the Sorrento Peninsula the gulf of Naples and Galli Island, after you finish enjoying your view, stop for some unforgettable photo, then you can relax with a drink on once of the rocking chairs at the "La Canzone delCielo" Do not miss the scenic overlook to enjoy a beautiful sunset.

Church of Santa Sofia

Only a few steps away from church of San Michele, located in the heart; this Piazza has always been the center of AnaCapri, the locals used to visit and majolica benches chatting or reading the papers , Don't miss the opportunity of been like a local.

Blue Grotto

Is undoubtedly beautiful, is a sea cave on the coast of the Island of Capri, sunlight passing through an underwater cavity and shining through the sea water creating a blue reflection that illuminates the cavern.

To get to the grotto, you can do it by boat or by land, we decided to walk from the apartment to the entrance of the Grotto, it was crazy, because the distance was long enough but in turn we would enjoy what the adventure would be. You will have to wait to be able to enter into the cave, since you can only enter by boat and depending on how the tideis. Do you research at what time the tide will rise, so you will not waste your time and money.

Villa San Michele

It is surrounded by an impressive garden and the most beautiful Villa in Ana Capri.

Punta Carena Lighthouse (Faro di Punta Carena)

This lighthouse is the second brightest in Italy and one of the older, if you ask an islander to recommend you for his favorite beach on Capri, you will almost certainley hear "II Faro" or the lighthouse, is not really a beach but you can dive in to the crystalline water and surrounded by a view and incomparable peace, do not miss the opportunity to bathe in the Mediterranean Sea, it will be an unforgettable sensation that will live forever in you.

The Faraglioni

You can take a boat trip tour to the mythical Faraglioni, the extraordinary and beautiful of Capri is signified by these rock formation jutting from the sea, if you're with you sweetheart be sure to exchange a kiss while passing through for a good luck.

Piazzetta di Capri

Center of Capri, the focal point of island life, the torre del Orolgio is doubtless the most recognized symbols of Capri's Piazzetta, one of the most unique free standing clock tower in Italy, climb the stairs leading from Piazzetta to the former Cathedral of Santo Stefano, Capri's most important Church dating from the 17th century.

Go through one of the most popular streets via Camerelle with it's designer fashion stores, if you venture a little further you can reaching Belvedere di Tragara, the path through Tragara is a beautiful walk that you will enjoy, surrounded by some wonderful villas and Hotels that border the deep blue of the mediterranean sea, the road ends in a charming garden with a terrace overlooking the famous Faraglioni of Capri.

Before reahing the terrace on the right side, you will find some stairs if you follow them, it will take you along a secret path where it will take you in front of the Faraglioni, you can sit and enjoy the beautiful view or you can take a bath in the Mediterranean sea, I warn you that the walk is long, about 45minutes to get there and another 45 minutes to get back, but you will enjoy.

Back in the center, sit back and enjoy a good lunch or a delicious coffee, the island is full of cafe places and restaurants, or you can enjoy a limoncello, and a granita a traditional drink of the area, everything is delicious with a gastronomy like the fall of heaven. My favorite restaurant is a local restaurant called Barborosa with a blessed food and a taste like homemade and desserts that will leave you dreaming of eating them again.

Granita

Sorrento

The city of lemon trees boasts the most spectacular views of the Bay of Naples. It lies on the Peninsula separating the Bay of Naples, is imbued with charm and echoes of the ancient past is to many things to do and the best place to choose it as the starting point to get to know the Amalfi Coast.

- Sorrento Cathedral - Corso Italia: for a bit of shopping head to the corso Italian, the main street in Sorrento. - Port of Marina Grande: Where you can walk or sit in one of the amazing restaurants and enjoy an amazing food.

Positano

Is the most beautiful city I have ever seen, clinging to the cliffs of Monti Lattari with pastel colored landscaper that rise on the slope of the impressive Mediterranean sea. Its sit on the glittering gulf with views that stretch over the sea to the Island of Coastal towns. It is itself a sight to seel on its steep perch, , here the streets take the form of corridors between the houses and steep stairs that interlook the alleys where the vast majority are able to take you to the deep Mediterranean sea; only one road crosses the city : Viale Positea, full of shops where you can get a souvenir, restaurants on the edge of the hill to enjoy not only gastronomy blessed by God but you will also accompany it with an extreme peace where you will enjoy the sound of the waves cratching into the rock.

Furore

The hidden gem of the Amalfi Coast, Furore is a small Italian village located along the coast of Amalfi between Amalfi and Positano, the oldest part of Furore is at sea level where a group of old fishermen's houses seems to be attached to the cliffs, a high gorge that cuts inland from the sea today became a tourist spot with amazing and unusual views, you will not be blessed to see them every day. If you visit on foot, I warn you that you will have to walk a lot, rent a car and drive there will be a good option, although you will have to park on the side of the road or find the closest parking. You will have to go down the stairs that will take you to the village, on the time that I went the stairs was close for renovation.

Note: "Stop on the Middle of the way and take a lot of amazing picture"

Ravello

Is one of the most charming and hidden treasure town of the Amalfi coast, offers some of the best views of the coastline with sweeping seascapes and breathtaking scenery.

This small and charminh towns has so much to offer that visiting it could not be missing from your itinerary. Villa Cimbrone and Villa Rufolo are famous for their views, the city also has its cultural roots just stroll through the alleys, enjoy the architecture and squares to see the best of history and pride of the City. Sit in the town square and enjoy a delicious caffee or a refreshing gelato while enjoyingthe Cathedral architecture.
